Taphenes graduated with a double master's degree in Information Technology and Management, and Accounting, at The University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing and International Business at Florida International University. Taphenes currently works in Cybersecurity as a Technology Auditor, assisting internal stakeholders with mitigating AI technology and data privacy risks. She chose the audit path because of her love for processes, and her interest in gaining insight into the inner workings of Fortune 500 companies.
Fun Fact
She spent most of her childhood as a tennis athlete, competing in tournaments across different countries.
